gnomeboxtastedrainbow asked: Just thought I'd say that I really enjoy your outfit posts, sorry for majorly spamming your notifications ! Hehee, I charity shop shopping :) I love brick lane when I get the chance to go. Where I am we have only a handful of shops but they are gold!
Thank you so much! I haven’t used this blog for such a long time, well since I moved to Bath actually as I have no room in my little student flat but I do miss taking pictures and I have made many marvelous finds here that I’d like to start sharing outfits again. Charity shops are truly wonderful places to find things.

panicbird-deactivated20140207 asked: Have you ever watched My So-Called Life? A lot of your style sort of reminds me of the show.
Ooh no I haven’t but I want to now! :D

First day in Bath - splitting headache and decided to dress Tintin inspired! Lost my blue sweatshirt though which is a bummer, I went into Topman to see if I could get a new one but no luck :( Thrifted jacket with velvet collar, vintage white shirt with embroidered collar, charity shopped brogues and the skirt is from Primark. Hype here on LOOKBOOK. I’m all moved into my uni halls now which is great and I’m clearing out tons of clothes! They’ll be up on eBay soon.

Charity shopped vintage daisy print shirt with charity shopped American Apparel skirt and Mum’s Karen Millen jumper today! Packing like mad for the move to Bath - day after tomorrow now, I’m so excited! Which means most of my stuff is packed up and impossible to get to (argh) and but I get moved in I’m going to be having a massive clear out so that will mean things for sale. Please hype here on LOOKBOOK :)

This vintage granny dress amazingly hasn’t been cut down yet - I think I may keep it this length. I don’t usually wear such long dresses as I don’t think I have the right figure, but I actually really like this one, so we’ll see. It’s such a gorgeous pattern too. The ancient cardigan is from Topman; I found it in a leftovers pile at the Princess May carboot in Stoke Newington which I highly recommend to Londoners! Especially when you find freebies at the end. Please hype here on LOOKBOOK.

I am pretty sure the dress I picked up from the thrift store in Paris is actually a nightie, but I don’t care. I’ve cut it short and I may dye it at some point, but I like it like this for now. With my massive boots and some tie dye tights I made myself, (somewhat galaxy inspired?) beanie and vintage leather jacket. Here on LOOKBOOK.

It’s getting cold now, and that means jumper time! I found this in a charity shop for just a quid, and I think the lacy white shirt worn underneath was the same! My skirt is from eBay, as were the old favouite polkadot DMs. Here on LOOKBOOK.

I found this great little grey jumper dress thing shot through with gold thread in the River Island sale where I got this skirt and this dress, but I had no idea how to wear it. I mean, it’s got a slit down the back and the arm holes go down to the waist so it is VERY revealing. While digging through the old suitcase I have all my dresses in, I found a plain black bodycon dress from H&M which is perfect to act as a slip to go underneath - yay! The witchy ankle boots are probably from Brick Lane somewhere, I’ve had them way too long to remember which shop. Now the only problem is working out which cardigan to wear - I just can’t decide. Both are excellent charity shop finds. Black sheer with sequins or silver glittery cape?

Anonymous asked: OMG YOU LOOK LIKE YOU BELONG IN THE 90S
Thank you :’) It is my favourite era for clothes after all and most of my clothes probably were made in the 90s!

Urgh, these photos are dreadful….the sun is so damn annoying! Ok, more stuff from the Paris thrift shop mentioned in this post. Again, the tartan skirt and the leotard were 3 euros each and my massive 90s boots are a Rokit purchase. I felt like dressing all dark to celebrate the fact summer is due to end soon and I can return to layering! Here on LOOKBOOK.

Lounging around in my old Winnie dungarees (from Rokit), a striped tee and my favourite Converse, here on LOOKBOOK.

I’m back from my travels! I wish I’d taken photos of outfits while away but it’s slightly difficult…plus I didn’t want to be taking my laptop as I was staying in youth hostels the whole time. I found this great thrift store in Paris here if anyone happens to be visiting - I got 9 items for 3 euros each including this skirt and this paisley shirt! With my CBGBs t-shirt and creepers. Sorry about the brightness in the pictures, the sun is driving me crazy. But on the other hand, having not dyed my hair for the longest time in about 5 years, my original blonde colour seems to be returning so I might actually stay natural this time! Well, we’ll see how long my willpower lasts! Here on LOOKBOOK.

Anonymous asked: could you post a link to that velvet skater skirt? i was looking for it on ebay and i want to be sure i get the same one
I just looked up the sellers in my archive for you but they don’t have them in stock anymore I’m afraid. There’s some really similar ones here, I’m sure they’re all the same in real life :)

Blonde Enid on LOOKBOOK. I love how my new DMs match the windows of our house! Got them on eBay for £27 which was brilliant, although they took ages to arrive but I’m really pleased anyway. They were a bit big so it took a while to work out which insoles I should use as DMs don’t do half sizes plus I wear special insoles for my dodgy feet anyway, but in the end I just added some extra holes to the strap to make them fit. The shirt was £1 in a charity shop and the skirt was my mum’s; possibly one of the cheapest outfits I’ve ever put together! V. Enid Coleslaw inspired. I started reading Ghost World again today. I was really sad when I went to art school because I felt like I was outgrowing her but given that I’ve jacked it in and am moving to another city in September, maybe I haven’t. Is it actually possible to ”find yourself” ever?
